OUR COMMITMENT TO A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
At Bella Grande, we firmly believe in our responsibility to contribute towards a more sustainable future. We are proud to be working with several initiatives that aim to foster positive change for the environment and our surroundings. From adopting a holistic approach towards sustainability, such as opting for all-organic cotton linen and being almost completely free of single-use packaging, to larger scale projects throughout our entire organization, we are dedicated to making a difference.
EMBRACING THE POWER OF SOLAR ENERGY
Owned by Copenhagen Food Collective (Cofoco), a Copenhagen based restaurant and hotel collective, Bella Grande is fueled by green energy. In 2017, Cofoco established a 6 hectare large solar energy farm, in the northwestern part of Jutland. The solar panels generate enough sustainable energy to support the energy consumption of Cofoco's 18 restaurants and two hotels, Coco Hotel and Bella Grande. All restaurants and hotels also operate on green energy.
CREATING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN KENYA
Every year we donate to Eden Reforestation Projects. Across more than 45 project sites in Kenya, we actively support the entire tree lifecycle, from production and planting to growth and protection. This does not only make a positive difference for the environment, it also fosters the well-being of local communities and nurture the delicate balance of wildlife and ecosystems in these project areas.

GREEN KEY CERTIFICATION (COMING SOON)
